Unnecessary scroll bar is seen when results are displayed in "black-menu-for-google" extension

OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10), Mac (10.10.5, 10.11.4), Linux (14.04 LTS)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch chrome,navigate to the above URL and click on add to chrome.
(2)Click on extension icon in Extensions overlay.
(3)Type any text in search box for e.g "tree" and search for images.(Kindly refer the video)
(4)Observe.

Actual:Unnecessary scroll bar is seen when results are displayed.

Expected:No such scroll bar should be seen when results are displayed.

This is a Non-Regression issue seen from M-33(i.e 33.0.1701.0)

Able to reproduce this issue on Windows 10,Linux 14.04 & Mac 10.12 -Chrome version Dev & Canary (55.0.2882.0) . This issue exists from M-35.Hence it is a non regression issue.

This seems like an issue in the extension itself, rather than the extensions platform.
