I've built the version you used and I'm unable to repro. I've been switching from chrome while voxing large paragraphs of text on pages using these methods: click on android app window, click on android app icon on launcher bar, alt-tab -- though it shouldn't matter as long as android window gets activated. Could you provide some more details of how you're reproducing this? I may be missing some edge-case.

The fix I made was specifically for the original repro: switching between android and chrome apps. In the repro provided by sdantuluri, there is no switching. The settings app is still the active app. Fixing that scenario will likely be significantly more involved. I feel like that actually warrants a separate ticket; but for now, since I'm on other things, I'll unassign myself from this.

I believe Chromevox is enabled by default for Android apps as of M70, so marking this obsolete. |
