Chrome browse. what I meant was that ever since I updated my HTC desire 626s to marshmallow 6.0.1and updated chrome browser for Android I cannot play live videos in full screen and the cast screen icon and expansion box icon to go full screen has disappeared and is no longer in this update. before I would be able to reinstall the udate from chrome and everything works fine but that's when I was on lollipop 5.0.1 now that I'm updated to 6.0.1 I can no longer have chrome working the way it used to anymore because of the stupid marshmallow update and it ruined everything

moralesmyst@gmail.com, you said live video, do you mean you are on online video chatting with somebody else? Are you able to expand YouTube video to full screen?

On live videos I mean like www.myfreecams.com there is no expansion box to go full-screen and the magnifier to see words from far no longer functions correctly or at all. I've never went live one on one with someone so that's not discovered yet and hopefully not but overall what I mean is that chrome functions will no longer work for me after this update to 6.0.1 on HTC desire 626s and the problem I just mentioned about happens to all sites visited with CHrome browser for the Android platform. YouTube and all videos that has been recorded and uploaded through differential sites all works and can go full-screen but not live videos like the ones that are on www.myfreecams.com using the desktop version but before updated using 5.0.1 lollipop I would be able to go to the desktop version just fine it was my choice but now on the 6.0.1 marshmallow those choices were taken away from this device and no longer functions ;(

I know it sucks, chrome browser sucks for Android 6 marshmallow, it went from my best used every day browser to now being disabled. i know ever since I've updated to Android 6 this browser have been very useless to me and to know I'm sure of what caused it. I am very certain that this is the reason why chrome browser malfunctioned on my device or on any device. Some 6.0.1 Android devices I have that has chrome browser on it will let me uninstall the browser's update and my browser will be up and running like a champ but not on the 626s desire because uninstalling still will not work smh!

#14: The expand-to-full-screen only appears if the <video> element has its |controls| set to true, and that depends on the HTML/JS code itself.

Ok but is there anything the google team can do to change the broken chrome on myfreecams.com because nothing works and it makes google chrome for the android platform pretty pointless to use !! So SOMEONE FIX THE PIECE OF SHIT BROSWER BECAUSE THIS BROSWER IS ALREADY PREINSTALLED INTO MY PHONE AND I CANNOT UNINSTALL THIS CRAP!!!!! SO FIX IT BEFORE I TAKE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION!!!

This is from first device= moto g second generation running Android 6.0 with the outdated version of chrome from Google play store. (I haven't updated chrome in months and it's been close to a year now and chrome works perfectly!) Take a look compared to the "updated" version on chrome with devices running on "6.0.1"

The problem is that this site uses <frameset>, and Fullscreen for anything but the top-level frame only works for <iframe allowfullscreen>. This is per spec: https://fullscreen.spec.whatwg.org/#fullscreen-element-ready-check https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/embedded-content.html#allowed-to-use The media controls follow the same rules as other web content, in order to not create an incentive for using the media controls instead of custom controls. Relevant changes: https://crrev.com/32a059337eb1c538242091adc170c41be325443b https://crrev.com/5e9eb3abadfb69fb9181484220c7785d1db90102 If other browsers behave differently, it maybe be cause to revisit the spec issues. If so, please file a new issue here: https://github.com/whatwg/fullscreen/issues/new

What's funny is that ALL BROWSERS FOR ANDROID THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT FLASH ACT THE EXACT SAME AS THE CHROME BROWSER! All Does not have the native controls or does not have the fullscreen button! This was caused by the system itself when it updated to 6.0.1 marsmallow!!! I want to go fullscreen like I did before the update and I cannot because of this update to system! Most likely my only sollution is to NOT UPDATE ANYHTING FOR ANDROID AND THAT WAY I WILL OVOID AND UNINFORMED CHANGES!! |
