Opening the dev tools sometimes disables style on the page

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 53.0.2785.116
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 5:
  Firefox 4.x:
     IE 7/8/9:


What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a website
2. Right-click on the site's background, select 'Inspect'


What is the expected result?
The dev tools open.


What happens instead of that?
The dev tools open, but the style that was applied to the website disappears. It's just like all the css files were suddenly not available.


Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I have not noticed a way to reproduce this bug repeatedly. I see it happen once in a while.
My settings have the dev tools open as a pane on the right of the window.
Upon resizing the dev tools pane, the style reappears.

Please update the Chrome Stable to latest 53.0.2785.143 and check if the issue still reproducible. 
If the issue still exists, please provide us screenshot , so that it would be helpful to triage the issue.

Please also check if you have "device mode" button in the left top corner of DevTools toggled.
