||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 55.0.2880 OS: iOS 10.0 (iPad) What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Visit expired.badssl.com to get it into your history (may require clicking through) (2) Open a new tab and start typing "exp" to get "expired.badssl.com" as an autocomplete. (3) Tap on the the autocomplete What is the expected output? The scheme in omnibox is highlighted in red (with a strikethrough), and "://" apppears in gray. What do you see instead? No URL highlighting. I cannot reproduce for other security states and other platforms. See attachments for screenshot and screencast.

This also happens for valid HTTPS pages, but *only* if you press "Go" on the keyboard. If you tap on the selected autocomplete dropdown, the URL is briefly all-black, then it gets the proper highlighting. See screencast

Is this similar to Issue 644419 that you reported earlier?
