Canvas path clipping/drawing problem with hardware accelerated canvas on Mac

Reported by android....@gmail.com, Oct 4 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://jsfiddle.net/3oz1zm45/2/

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open and run the JSFiddle

What is the expected behavior?
Nothing should be drawn in the canvas as the path lies completely outside the visible bounds.

What went wrong?
A blue rectangle is drawn. This should not be the case.

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

I reproduced the problem on three different Macs (MacBook Air OS 10.11 without retina display; MacPro OS 10.12 without retina display, iMac OS 10.11 with retina display). The problem does not occur in Safari 10, and it disappears when turning off canvas hardware acceleration in chrome://flags.

Confirmed the issue. As the bug report states, it occurs with chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-canvas-features enabled and is not reproducible on Safari.
