Issue descriptionChrome Version (from "Settings > About Google Chrome"): Device Type: Iphones running IOS 9 or below. URLs: create account. Any place that more than 1 drop down box appears on a page, e.g date of birth: https://accounts.google.com/SignUpWithoutGmail?hl=en Behavior in Safari (if applicable): This happens when you try and enter a date of birth on iphone running IOS 9 or below. Steps to reproduce: (1)Click day and highlight a value (don't click done or next) (2)Directly click into the month drop down box (3)you will see it has taken the position value from "Day" and put it into "month" To fix the issue you can add a option group that is hidden which will allow the user to go from day to month. <optgroup style="display: none; visibility: hidden"></optgroup> Thanks a lot Daniel Hadaway danielhadaway@hotmail.com

Yes, that is correct, IOS 10 seems to have fixed the issue, however a large number of people will still be using IOS 9 or below and can cause issues other than just user experience as I have seen.

This is a WKWebView bug, and Apple usually do not back port small fixes to older iOS versions, so there is no value in filing radar.

I have stated how to fix the bug in thr bug report, it is a simple fix and many people will still be using IOS 9 or below. |
