Tabbing through Cox options and exiting results in strangeness while typing

Reported by ni...@jaberspace.com, Oct 3 2016

Issue description

Mode: force_next
Version: 55.0.2878.0
Reproduction Steps:
1. Enable CVox Next
2. Tab through the interface, all the way through.
3. CTRL+W to exit.
4. Navigate to a Hangouts window or anywhere else and begin typing.
Expected: Typing happens as usual, no other strangeness.
Actual: I type the first letter, and I hear "next key press ignored"

I had same issue when verifying a cvox option bug and ended-up resetting Next keymap.
Don't see this; it's possible you modified an option while tabbing through.
No, no options modified.
Can't reproduce. You might want to scope down the reproduction a little.
Between step 1 and two, there should be step 1.5 that says: Access Cox options with CVox+O+O. Then, the rest of the steps outlined above still repro for me... If you are unable to repro, might be time for another power wash...

1. search+o+o for CV options
2. Tab ~50x to cycle thrugh all the options (every-single keybinding and setting)3. When focused on omnibar > shift+tab > ctrl+w
Observed:
1. shift-tab = next key will be passed-through
2. After closing CV options = attempting to type into an editbox will result in jump-commands firing

Expected:
1. Possible to shift-tab from omnibar to last element in CV options
2. Since no keybindings were changed while traversing/clsoing CV options, it to be possible to type into editbox as usual

Note: THis reproduced 3/3 and I had to reset Next keybindings each time to restore functionality

Status: wontfix (was: Unconfirmed)
Options page is going through an overhaul; obsolete.
