Text overlays on floated image in chrome

It worked fine couple of release back in chrome.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Insert <a href=""><img src="http://placehold.it/350x150" style="float:right"></a> in the middle of paragraph

What is the expected result?
Text should wrap around the image

What happens instead?
Text is displayed over image

Navigated to the URL "https://jsfiddle.net/dvabv2zn/2/" on Latest Chrome Stable# 53.0.2785.143 and Chrome Canary# 55.0.2880.0 on Windows and Linux and is reproducible.

This issue is not reproducible on Mac OS X 10.11.6.
Providing the Bisect results,
Chrome Good Build -- 53.0.2768.0.
Chrome Bad Build  -- 53.0.2770.0.

You are probably looking for a change made after 400229 (known good), but no later than 400259 (first known bad).
