Alt-tab shows on the primary display with geometry of external display |

Issue descriptionVersion: 54.0.2840.43 beta (64-bit) OS: Chrome OS 8743.44.0 (Official Build) beta-channel samus What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Connect Dell P2715Q (3840x2160) as external display to samus (2) focus on an external display window (3) press alt-tab What is the expected output? strip of windows shows up as alt-tab key is pressed with alt key is held. What do you see instead? Top edge of that strip shows up on the primary display (1440x956) cut off at the bottom of the display, presumably at the right Y axis if the internal display was 2160. Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

I have a shot of the screen. Note The bottommost black strip showing on the internal display. (if it showed on the external display it would probably have been correct)

hmm... here's the relevant bit of code: https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/ash/common/wm/window_cycle_list.cc?rcl=0&l=612 I don't really know which part is not working as expected. Is ConfigureWidgetInitParamsForContainer somehow getting the wrong root window?

Is the code using the display with an active window to reason about dimensions? See if you can maybe debug this using --ash-host-window-bounds flag that allows specifying multiple displays with different resolutions.

I can't reproduce with --ash-host-window-bounds. Everything seems to work as expected. |
