Android Site Settings UI: Expand and collapse up/down arrows are reversed

On Android the expand and collapse icons (v or ^) show their current state (like toggles, checkboxes, and radio buttons). On MD settings, v and ^ show what they are going to do.

I'd like to have the v and ^ icons used in the same ways on Android and desktop. It makes sense to me that they'd show the current state.

May I change (swap) the use of the expand and collapse icons?

It looks like the Android UI I was looking at has it the wrong way around.

This is WAI on Md-Settings per material spec
