Issue descriptionChrome Version: 55.0.2876.0 5c0e46df680c3284a99ae05aafaf52078674ea2d-refs/heads/master@{#421986} (32/64 bit) OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.10.5, 10.11.4) What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings (2) Now press tab key from keyboard and observe focus travel from arrow button besides Person name to 'Sign in to chrome' button Actual: Flickering of arrow button is seen when focus is traveled to 'Sign in to chrome' button Expected: Flickering of arrow button should not be seen when focus is traveled to 'Sign in to chrome' button This is a non-regression issue, seen from 'M-55'(55.0.2876.0) Note: This is a new feature seen from 55.0.2876.0 build.

i think this is similar to downloads in that Roboto bold flickers when it's loaded the first time. i have a 1-liner fix.

Tested this issue on Windows-10, Mac OS 10.12 using chrome latest Dev #55.0.2880.0 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome Dev #55.0.2879.0 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Still there is some flicker movement when focus is traveled to 'Sign in to chrome' button in chrome://md-settings page. Attaching screen-cast for reference. |
