Issue descriptionVersion: 55.0.2875.0 dev OS: Ubuntu 14.04, Windows What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome and go to https://about.pinterest.com/en/browser-button-confirmation-page >> Scroll to bottom and open language dropdown and observe list Expected: Transparent menu should not be seen. Actual: Instead background text is visible. This is a regression issue broken in M55 as it is working fine in 54.0.2840.41 beta. Will provide other info soon.

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results, Good build:55.0.2872.0(Revision: 420859). Bad build: 55.0.2873.0 (Revision:421052). You are probably looking for a change made after 420954 (known good), but no later than 420955 (first known bad). Just to update the latest behavior of the bug, Issue is still seen on chrome latest Dev M56-56.0.2891.0. schenney@ - Ping! Do you have any update on this bug? Could you please take a look in it if it's related your change, else feel free to reassign to the the concerned Dev person. Thanks!

I believe this was fixed by https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src.git/+/6c715c7a413e006594b26a2b59783d2d9d01f311 I can't reproduce on Linux ToT. |
