news.google.com grew to 1.5GB on beta channel

I just noticed on the task monitor that my news.google.com tab showed a size of 1.5GB, and the task was not shared with other tabs.  For just showing a bunch of news headers and links, it doesn't seem right.  I don't know if the problem is with the site or with Chrome.

Filing under Blink but really I have no idea about who might want to investigate.

I'm upping the priority on this because it's the second report of enormous memory consumption.
