Issue descriptionDevice name:Oppo find7 From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version: 54.0.2840.42 OS: 6.0.1 URLs (if applicable):https://html-online.com/editor/ Behavior in Android Browser (if applicable): Certain editable text fields (hard to tell on mobile) cause extreme delay and issues with typing in them. Above is shown an example site that exhibits this behavior, but essentially it seems anything listening to keypresses from the element causes freezing when input is recieved. Elements like the one on this tracker that don't seem to have events work just fine though. Steps to reproduce: (1) Load page with input box. (2) Try to type in box (3) be astounded as things like hheliu me ttytypptype ssomomrthsomthing Ok appears Expected result: Help me type something ok Actual result: The sucky thing is it doesn't seem consistent. For example, the linked page may not trigger the bad behavior, but after loading the demo page it does.

Sorry, I couldn't find the bug tracker. It doesn't corrupt my typing as much on version 62.0.3202.45, but there's still extreme lag between key presses when the input box has a lot of content (though I think this is an issue with the keyboard, so I'll bring it up with them).

Yeah, with other keyboards it's just chrome that is unresponsive for a few seconds each keypress. |
