Chrome OS really should have a version of paste that strips out formatting

Every OS has a way to paste text without formatting, both in menus and also has a paste shortcut variation (typically with the Shift key added which would make it CTRL + SHIFT + V in Chrome OS). But not Chrome OS apparently.

Needing to paste unformatted text is extremely common. Can this be added?

If it is there, can standard shortcuts be added/can it be made discoverable in menus too?
