GIF stops playing and display blank

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Goto http://alex.twb.fr/epita/081209014009489852852137.gif (pew pew asian girl)

What is the expected behavior?
GIF playing untill the end and repeat

What went wrong?
GIF stops playing after a second and blank is displayed instead

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? Yes Not sure - I don't know

Does this work in other browsers? No Vivaldi 1.5.609.8 (dev, 64 bits, chromium based)

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.116 x64  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: 

Working correctly in Edge.

Able to reproduce the issue on windows 10 using chrome reported version #53.0.2785.116 and latest canary #55.0.2879.0.

This is a non regression as it is observed from M35, M45 and M50 old builds.

Hence, marking it as Untriaged to get more inputs from dev team.

It looks like there's a case where the "current code" is > "next code", and we treat that as an error condition since https://codereview.chromium.org/26336003.
