Failed to launch GPU process on vServer

Reported by kenorb@gmail.com, Sep 28 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
I've installed chromium-browser via apt-get and run via X11 forwarding (on Windows having Xming server).

It works, but it's very slow and in the terminal, I've got the following logs after run:

Ubuntu-1604-xenial-64-minimal:~$ chromium-browser
[20310:20310:0928/235706:ERROR:gl_surface_glx.cc(386)] GLX 1.3 or later is required.

[20278:20304:0928/235729:ERROR:browser_gpu_channel_host_factory.cc(119)] Failed to launch GPU process.
[20278:20304:0928/235729:ERROR:browser_gpu_channel_host_factory.cc(119)] Failed to launch GPU process.
[20278:20304:0928/235846:ERROR:browser_gpu_channel_host_factory.cc(119)] Failed to launch GPU process.
[20278:20304:0928/235847:ERROR:browser_gpu_channel_host_factory.cc(119)] Failed to launch GPU process.

I'm missing anything, or this suppose to work, or it won't work?

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
GPU process failed.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable
OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.0-22-generic x86_64)
Flash Version:

I've got this server: https://www.hetzner.de/it/hosting/produkte_vserver/cx40

I'm not sure if it's virtualized or not, or whether this suppose to work (GPU processing).

I've tried to install newer GLX, but I don't think it's available.

My `glxinfo | grep version` is showing still 1.2

I've tried:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libxcb-glx0 libgl1-mesa-glx

but with no luck.

Is GPU process is directly related to requirement for GLX 1.3 or above?
