Dropdown select options are not appearing in chrome's mobile view

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.34 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open page in mobile view
2. Click on drop down menu
3. Options are not visible and some black box appears far away 

What is the expected behavior?
1. Open page in mobile view
2. Click on drop down menu
3. I must see dropdown options

What went wrong?

        <option value="product1">Product1</option>
        <option value="product2">Product2</option>
</select>

Drop down options are not visible

Did this work before? Yes Its working in 52, 53 version

Same happens on Chrome 53.0.2785.124 on Android
I had this first on chrome while toggling devices from dev toolbar i thought might be something local but on my Samsung Galaxy 3 on Chrome (only) is doing the same.
