Issue 650700 seems to be fixed with release of Version 53.0.2785.144 update.
Thanks for the quick fix.

I am still currently experiencing the issue on the most recent stable build.

Have we been able to repro it ?
- Is the behaviour different between managed and unmanaged users ?
Issue 650700 : I am having the same issue on my Acer Chromebook 15, CB5-571-C09S

Version 53.0.2785.154 (64-bit)
Platform 8530.96.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna
Firmware Google_Auron_yuna.6301.59.8

Verified that this is only affecting managed users.

Repro steps:

Unmanaged user:
- Log in with unmanaged account (I tested w/ 53.0.2785.154 and 55.0.2858.0)
- add some apps to the shelf
- log out, log back in
- Apps are still pinned to shelf

Managed user: (same versions above)
- Log in with managed account
- add some apps to the shelf
- log out, log back in
- Apps are *NOT* pinned to shelf

I could not repro this issue, either on managed user, or on unmanaged user. Close this issue then.

Free free to reopen it if you still experience this issue.
