Problem with ExtJS tabs perfmormance since Chrome 53

Reported by ecce...@gmail.com, Sep 27 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : 53.0.2785.116,
URLs (if applicable) : (requires login)
Other browsers tested:
have tested this issue:
     Safari: 5.1.7 (Windows) - OK
    Firefox: 47.0.1, 51.0a2 - OK
         IE: 11 - OK
       Edge: 20 - OK
Opera: 40 - FAIL (same bug)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Add ExtJS tab.
(2) Close ExtJS tab.
(3) Repeat.

What is the expected result?
Add/Close should be relatively fast (~1 second).

What happens instead?
It takes 2-20 iterations of Add/Close and Chrome hangs. I'm not sure what really happens. It is fine in all other browsers so it doesn't seem like a memory leak in the app.

I cannot provide public access to the application in question but I'm attaching profiling results. As you can see after 17 iterations Chrome suddenly becomes very slow and unresponsive and it might take a 40-90 seconds to close the tab. I'm also attaching a script I use for automatic iterations.

The issues surfaced when Chrome 53 came out. I assume this is a Blink problem as it also occurs in Opera and not in any other browser I tested.

PS: If you need access to the application I can try provide the access...

Oh, I forgot - I tested on Chrome Canary 55.0.2873.0. Same problem.
