Issue descriptionChrome Version: 55.0.2872.0 5264ac775e58852ece697a6e26117d72181c4f41-refs/heads/master@{#420859} 32/64-bit. OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.10.5, 10.11.4). What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and go to NTP or any Webpage. 2. Press and hold the 'Ctrl' + '+' key to zoom in the page and observe. Page gets stuck on 110% zoom level. Page should increase to 500% zoom level. This is a regression issue, broken in M-55 series, will soon update other info.

This is intentional. https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/42d287c9658c6bfa1202275597f28399409e8603 states that this is what it's doing: ---- Make most browser accelerators not repeat. Prevent browser accelerators from repeating unless they're associated with the following commands: IDC_FIND_NEXT IDC_FIND_PREVIOUS IDC_FOCUS_NEXT_PANE IDC_FOCUS_PREVIOUS_PANE IDC_MOVE_TAB_NEXT IDC_MOVE_TAB_PREVIOUS IDC_SELECT_NEXT_TAB IDC_SELECT_PREVIOUS_TAB ---- Increasing the page zoom to 500% at an uncontrollable rate with an unpredictable delay before autorepeat kicks in doesn't seem like useful functionality. |
