rpm packages google-chrome-beta-54.0.x missing icon

Steps to reproduce the problem:

install google-chrome-beta 
may be done with 
dnf install google-chrome-beta 

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
What is the expected output?
see the chrome icon on menu , and desktop luncher 

What do you see instead?
icon disappear 

Did this work before? Yes google-chrome-beta-53

Chrome version: 54.0.  Channel: beta
OS Version: rpm packages google-chrome-beta-54.0.x missing icon
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Just go back to google-chrome-beta-53 , now is google-chrome-stable and icons are there

Sounds like  bug 642953 .  Can you try logging out and logging back in?

If that doesn't work, can you verify the following:

$ cat /usr/share/applications/google-chrome-beta.desktop  | grep Exec
Exec=/usr/bin/google-chrome-beta %U
Exec=/usr/bin/google-chrome-beta
Exec=/usr/bin/google-chrome-beta --incognito

$ ls -l /usr/bin/google-chrome-beta 
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 42 Sep 20 20:53 /usr/bin/google-chrome-beta -> /opt/google/chrome-beta/google-chrome-beta

$ ls -l /opt/google/chrome-beta/google-chrome-beta
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2254 Sep 20 20:53 /opt/google/chrome-beta/google-chrome-beta

it looks that is fixed , at least I see icon again in one vm.
