Regression:Page gets auto scrolled after exiting full screen in "www.espn.in"

Issue description

Chrome Version: 55.0.2869.0 (Official Build)333a7dd429e44a6562112fc29c667474fa2e92f9-refs/heads/master@{#420536} 32/64-bit.
OS: Windows (7,8,10), Mac (10.10.5, 10.11.4), Linux (14.04 LTS).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch chrome and navigate to the above URL.
(2)Resize the browser window.
(3)Scroll down the page and click on video under "Soccer" section.(Kindly refer the video)
(4)Play the video,click on full screen icon then click Esc and observe.

Actual:Page gets auto scrolled after step 4.

Expected:Page should not get auto scrolled after step 4.

This is a Regression issue broken in M-55,will soon update the bisect info.

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results,
Good build:55.0.2867.0(Revision: 419930).
Bad build: 55.0.2868.0(Revision: 420217).

You are probably looking for a change made after 420128 (known good), but no later than 420129 (first known bad).

I was previously able to repro but it seems like this issue is no longer there in 55.0.2873.0, perhaps it was fixed by another patch. Could QA confirm?

Still able to reproduce the issue on windows 7 using chrome latest version 55.0.2882.4  and Mac 10.11.6 using chrome version 55.0.2883.0.
Please find the attached screen cast for the same.

removing Needs-TestConfirmation,please feel free to add if any information required here.

Ok, reproduced in Canary but seems fixed in ToT. I suspect the patch by ymalik@ would have fixed this: https://codereview.chromium.org/2400723002/

We'll retry again when this patch hits Canary.

kavvaru@, could you please try again? It looks to be working correctly in Linux Dev channel for me now.
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
Tested this issue on Windows-10, Mac OS 10.12 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome latest Dev M56-56.0.2895.0 and observed no issues while exiting the fullscreen video.

Marking it as wont fix, please feel free to reopen on raise a new issue if you come across the similar one on latest chrome versions.
