Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8530.81.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.103 Safari/537.36 Platform: Platform 8530.81.0 (Official Build) stable-channel chell Steps to reproduce the problem: TPM chipset onboarded natively on Chrome devices since some local laws prohibit this technology, and that they could confiscate the laptop. Some countries (for example, China and Russia) have explicit TPM regulations. TPM is not a globally supported product due to certain country regulations. China restricts the use of TPM and uses the Chinese government regulated alternative, TCM. Hong Kong uses regular TPM. There is no Russian equivalent to TCM. Encryption products (not just TPM) implementing encryption with a certain strength level or higher, are subject to review and approval by Russian authorities. What is the expected behavior? What is the expected answer for those countries? What went wrong? if a user go to China with its chromebook. How guarantee its security? Did this work before? No Chrome version: 53.0.2785.103 Channel: n/a OS Version: 8530.81.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 |
