CSS: Animating opacity breaks 3D transforms

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.116 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://codepen.io/keithclark/pen/ibEnk Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit http://codepen.io/keithclark/pen/ibEnk 2. There should be three visible layers on the page (only one renders) 3. Comment out the opacity rules in `@keyframes fly` 3. Now all three layers are visible What is the expected behavior? Three layers should render What went wrong? Only one layer is rendered Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes I can't give exact version as I haven't tested this in a while. Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 53.0.2785.116 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Able to reproduce the issue on windows 7, Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.11.6 using chrome version 53.0.2785.116 and canary 55.0.2874.0.
