Pixel 2: Bluetooth Disconnects

Project Member Reported by hennessywill@chromium.org, Sep 22 2016

Issue description

A googler submitted feedback that his Samus is dropping connection to his Bluetooth devices. Links with logs:

https://feedback.corp.google.com/product/208/neutron?lView=rd&lRSort=1&lROrder=2&lRFilter=1&lReportSearch=bluetooth&lReport=17964471842
https://feedback.corp.google.com/product/208/neutron?lView=rd&lRSort=1&lROrder=2&lRFilter=1&lReportSearch=bluetooth&lReport=17966225974

I looked at the logs and see many occurrences of 'avc: denied'. I also see:
<12>[ 6404.095278] init: bluetoothd main process (3484) terminated with status 139

Have you seen this before?

An interesting update from another user on the thread:

"Occasionally the mouse cursor would stop responding to the mouse movement, and then it would come back. But more often I would find that the Bluetooth function/driver in ChromeOS would completely disappear. To be clear, it would appear as though the Chromebook didn't have Bluetooth capability... the icon in the status tray was gone, as was its section in Settings."

What would cause Bluetooth to disappear from the Settings section?

The exact same situation as the quoted user in the comment from josephsih@chromium.org is happening on my original Chromebook Pixel as well. I just moved from the beta channel to the stable channel with a powerwash and reboot.

Version 53.0.2785.144 (64-bit)
Platform 8530.93.0 (Official Build) stable-channel samus
ARC Version 3301557
Firmware Google_Samus.6300.174.0

These are the same symptoms as https://code.google.com/p/chrome-os-partner/issues/detail?id=56377

I can't mark as Duplicate since it's in partner tracker, so marking as WontFix.
