Text in search field is partially cut.

Issue description

Example URL:
naver.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. fetch naver.com
2. enter "Ggyy" in search field and press on search button
3. observe the "Ggyy" entered

What is the expected behavior?
The text entered i.e "Ggyy" should be displayed properly.

What went wrong?
"Ggyy" displayed on the search field is cut at the bottom

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? N/A 

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.81  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 6.0.1
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

As far as observed the issue is not observed on all android devices. I was able to reproduce it on Samsung Note-4 device.

Can you check on the latest Chrome Stable build?

It doesn't repro for me on 53.0.2785.124 on Nexus 5X and Note 4.  Thanks.
It looks like the issue occurs only on specific devices. Can you try reproducing on a Galaxy S7(G930F) device?

Thanks for the additional device info.

I'm able to repro also on Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) on Chrome 53.0.2785.124 too.
The issue seems to be a side effect of https://codereview.chromium.org/1584683002.

Can you make a minimum reproduction? Especially, font-family is important.

lang="ko" is also important here along with font-family. If I remove lang="ko", then the issue not happening.

sans-serif isn't an actual font name.  It depends on lang="ko".  Can you investigate actual font name?

BTW, this issue is very likely to be closed as WontFix. Some fonts have glyphs higher than requested font-size.  Taller CSS "height" is necessary for such fonts.
