"Open as" different profile option in right click context menu disappeared

However, this issue is present on my main Chrome profile but is not present on a separate test profile. It seems that Beena can't provide me with a technical answer so I was hoping that someone here might be able to help. Long story short: I used to be able to see the "Open as" option but I recently noticed it was gone, but still visible in a separate profile. Disabling all extensions doesn't fix it. What is the expected behavior? For the "Open as" option to display when right clicking on a link What went wrong? It doesn't display Did this work before? I hit this same problem but when I explicitly opened a window with a different profile, then went back to the previous profile to right click the same link, the "Open As" option reappeared.

Wow. That fixed it. Whenever I switch profiles, I always right click and select the other profile, since it's faster. But if you left click, then pick the profile from the pop up, that fixed it for me. So, it seems as if utilizing the right click shortcut on your profile name in the upper right hand corner to quickly switch profiles may have led to the "Open as" option disappearing in the right click context menu when clicking on a link. Could you please look into that? Thanks!

It just disappeared again for me, literally within a minute... There is definitely some underlying issue here.

Ok, here's what's happening now. Regardless of whether I right click or left click on my profile name in the upper right hand corner to open a different profile, the right click on a link "Open as" option will ONLY appear while I have a second profile open. As soon as I close the second profile, right clicking on a link will not show the "Open as" option.
