Enter, Ctrl+Keys, Alt+Keys, Backspace, Delete not working

Issue description

Device name:

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version: 53.0.2785.116 m (64 Bit)
OS: Windows 7

URLs (if applicable):

Behavior in Android Browser (if applicable):



Steps to reproduce:
(1)Open Chrome
(2)Open Gmail
(3)Enter User id
(4) Try to press backspace or delete - Doesn't work.

Steps in other URLs.
(1) Open Chrome
(2) Open Gmail and hit Compose
(3) Type in Subject, Try to hit backspace, Ctrl + V, Delete does not work.

Expected result: Hitting backspace should delete the last typed character.


Actual result: No action. Backspace is disabled. Delete is disabled. Enter is disabled.

Unable to repro this issue on Windows 7 for Google Chrome Stable Version - 53.0.2785.116

@sudhakar.vemuri: Could you please re-test the same on a clean profile [chrome://settings -> Add Person -> Do Not Login] and let us know your observations.
