Google Hangouts Certificate Issue

Reported by kevinsha...@gmail.com, Sep 20 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Google Hangouts addon in chrome
2. receive the error hangouts.google.com didn't accept your login certificate or your log in certificate may have expired
3.

What is the expected behavior?
Expected that the google hangouts should bring up my chat contacts in the pop up window from the bottom right of the screen.

What went wrong?
receive the error hangouts.google.com didn't accept your login certificate or your log in certificate may have expired

Did this work before? Yes A few weeks ago

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.116 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

My google chrome browser has been kind of slow and laggy lately, not sure if that has anything to do with it either.

Thanks for your help!

Can you provide a net internals log? Instructions can be found at: https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/for-testers/providing-network-details

Also, if you have antivirus software, you may try disabling that (temporarily) to see if resolves the certificate issue.

Is this issue still happening? If so, can you provide a net-internals log using the instructions in comment 1?
