Ctrl-W closes a tab on Gnome3 (previously didn't)

Reported by romgrk...@gmail.com, Sep 20 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : 54.0.2840.27 beta (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested: N/A

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Focus a text-field
(2) Press Ctrl-W

What is the expected result?
Delete a word

What happens instead?
Closes a tab

Using Gnome3, it is possible to configure an Emacs KeyBinding theme in all text-fields. This used to work perfectly, until last update. All others keybindings still keep their old behavior. (Eg Ctrl-H=>backspace, Alt-F=>forward-word, Alt-D=>delete-word, etc.)
