Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 8798.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2858.0 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8798.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel veyron_speedy Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/composekey/iijdllfdmhbmlmnbcohgbfagfibpbgba?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-search 2. Switch compose key on 3. Try to switch keyboard layout using mouse. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Black screen, browser restarts asking to restore tabs. Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2858.0 Channel: dev OS Version: 8798.0.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 It worked on Acer C720P

Unfortunately when ChromeOS crashes there is no crash ID in chrome://crashes. Only some old ones.

Found the correct way to reproduce this bug on powerwashed Chromebook. Tick "Show input in the shelf" in language setup. You'll see layout switch in a panel. Click it and then click to any layout option. Chrome will crash.
