What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) opening chrome at all will reproduce the problem

What is the expected result?
For the browser window to retain the same appearance despite being updated.

What happens instead?
YOU CHANGE THE APPEARANCE FOR NO REASON. I liked the appearance of my chrome window. The color, the font, the appeance of the address bar and buttons. Everything looked great. Then you issue an update and change the appearance. Now everything looks like garbage so I have to find a theme to make it acceptable. Why did you need to change appearances. Was the look making things error? Stop changing things that aren't broken!

Many people may not care at all. But I am willing to bet NOT ONE person asked you to change it.
