Issue description
Steps to reproduce the problem:
video.preload = 'metadata';
video.onloadedmetadata = function () {
console.log('loaded metadata');
};
video.src = 'http://media.w3.org/2010/05/sintel/trailer.mp4';
What is the expected behavior?
it should log 'loaded metadata'
What went wrong?
event is never fired and handler is never called
Did this work before? Yes confirmed working on 53.0.2785.109 on iOS 9.3.5
Chrome version: 53.0.2785.86 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0.1
Flash Version:
we are using this functionality to validate duration of user uploaded videos on the client side. this stopped working recently and seemed to coincide with the iOS 10 upgrade

This is fixed in version 54 by using the iOS10 SDK to build. I just investigated this issue here crbug.com/648461 |
