Try separating html elements into columns using the column-count property 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Not sure but it doesn't seem to work on the latest update for chrome. With no test case I just have to make a wild guess: Please set "orphans" and "widows" to 1. Their initial value is 2, so by default we attempt to avoid a lone line in a column, and try to keep line count at 2 or higher. If that solves your problem, then this is a duplicate of bug 638530 .
