Revoking certificate decision should result in visible behaviour |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome 55.0.2859.0 OSX 10.11.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Make sure you're not using MacViews for the time being (due to Issue 646057 ) (1) Visit expired.badssl.com (2) Click through the interstitial. (3) Click on the lock icon > Re-enable warnings What is the expected output? Something changes, since the certificate for the current page is now invalid! What do you see instead? Nothing. Literally nothing happens after Page Info goes away. Strawmen: - Show an infobar telling the user to refresh. - Refresh automatically (which will usually trigger the interstitial). - Navigate to about:blank Note that closing the tab is not reasonable, because the user might have other uses for the tab/window.

Seems like this should get a similar info bubble/bar to the location permission that says to refresh the page for the setting change to take effect.
