chrome devtools: shortcut to elements panel subpanel

Reported by sury...@gmail.com, Sep 15 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.101 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
I am writing a Dev tools extension to add a subpanel to Elements panel. Extension is called 'Redder' ( see the image)

Is there a way to reach this extension with keyboard.

Right now chrome has a short cut keys to launch Dev tools and switch between main panels but not the sub panels (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/iterate/inspect-styles/shortcuts?hl=en#accessing-devtools)

Also, is there a way to assign shortcut key to go to my extension panel directly after launching Devtools?

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
can not go the devtools element subpanel with keyboard

Did this work before? N/A

We have keyboard only user's (blind persons) want to use our plug-in but they are blocked right now. Is there a ETA on this?

If there is a workareound to get to the Redder plugin using keyboard only, please let us know.

Thanks for your help.
You will soon be able to tab into the TabbedPane and use the arrow keys to switch to your extension panel. I will look into adding extension sidebar panels to the command menu so you can show them with ctrl+shift+p.
