Add Signin_Signin_Succeed metric on iOS |
|||||||||
Issue descriptionThe Signin_Signin_Succeed metric hasn't been added during the signin metrics revamp on iOS (see Issue 612908). Eli: It wasn't in the original bug, so can you confirm when we're supposed to log it? As far as I understood, we log this when the user taps on "OK, Got It" or the "Settings" links on the signin confirmation screen, correct?

Sorry for not including it in the original bug >< Yes, it should be recorded when the user clicks "OK, GOT IT" or the "Settings" link (i.e. when the sign in is completed). +Ganggui, can you confirm that's when we're recording it on Android as well?

By definition, we should record it when sign in succeed but not a specific user operation, so we record it when sign in succeed in SigninManager. We have Signin_Signin_WithAdvancedSyncSettings and Signin_Signin_WithDefaultSyncSettings user actions for different choices.

(Signin_Signin_WithAdvancedSyncSettings + Signin_Signin_WithDefaultSyncsettings) = Signin_Signin_Succeed Right? If we don't have Signin_Signin_WithAdvnacedSyncSettings and Signin_Signin_WithDefaultSyncSettings, we should add those on iOS as well.
