Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.113 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install extension from the "extension.zip" file 2. Open the main.html from the "testPage.zip" file 3. Run GC 4. Take a heap snapshot 5. Click on "Run!" in the page 6. Run GC 7. Take a heap snapshot What is the expected behavior? Memory heap should not be affected What went wrong? Memory increased from 3.4mb to 22.6mb Although that all iframes where removed, no content-scripts were leftovers WebStore page: Local extension Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 53.0.2785.113 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 Please see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/SiH6xbKdgtwC It seems that the main cause for this is a string that related to internal extension logic
