When typing text into input field, I suddenly lose focus and my previously typed data was deleted

Reported by cnick66...@gmail.com, Sep 15 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Launch Chrome (64-bit) Windows (Win7, Win8.1)
2. Navigate to YouTube.com
3. In YouTube.com search field, type (at fast rate) a search string

BUG--> While typing the search string, the keyboard focus is suddenly lost and my previously typed search string text is suddenly deleted.

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome shouldn't suddenly lose focus when typing in data.

What went wrong?
While typing, the input box in YouTube.com (and other similar sites) suddenly loses focus and my previously typed data is deleted (as if the input field was suddenly reset.)

Did this work before? Yes I think in Pre-53.x Chrome builds... just started happening recently

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.116 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

This bug happens so fast that it's nearly impossible to track down and analyze without it happening first. It has just started happening recently in Chrome. I've seen this on several different web sites, such as YouTube.com and others where there's an input box (search field.) I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to setup Chrome for debugging this issue PRIOR to it happening again...

Thanks!

FYI, I type quite fast (~70 wpm) and I *think* it may have something to do with my typing speed..? Not certain but just a guess. This bug just happened today after updating Chrome to the latest stable desktop version (53.0.2785.116) and I noticed that I was typing quite fast. The first time I hit this, I thought it was my fat finger slipping -- but I'm 100% sure this wasn't me -- it was Chrome doing something weird.
