Can't distinguish which version of the video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed test is failing |
|||||
Issue descriptionThe logs doesn't contain any useful information as to which version of the test is failing. The test has so many versions, for example: video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.vp8 video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.vp9 video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.h264 video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.vp8.mse video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.vp9.mse video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.vp8.arc video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.vp9.arc See Issue 646898 for a recent failure. The failure message is just like: START video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed timestamp=1473833236 localtime=Sep 13 23:07:16 ERROR video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed timestamp=1473833298 localtime=Sep 13 23:08:18 Media.GpuVideoDecoderInitializeStatus not loaded or histogram bucket not found or histogram bucket found at < 100% END ERROR video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed timestamp=1473833298 localtime=Sep 13 23:08:18 We probably need to improve that so that it's quite clear which one is failing.

After inspecting some recent error log, it is already fixed autoserv.DEBUG in https://pantheon.corp.google.com/storage/browser/chromeos-autotest-results/201287431-chromeos-test/chromeos4-row12-rack11-host3/debug 05/18 17:03:35.794 DEBUG| autotest:1281| AUTOTEST_STATUS:: ERROR video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.h264 video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.h264 timestamp=1526688215 localtime=May 18 17:03:35 Media.GpuVideoDecoderInitializeStatus not loaded or histogram bucket not found or histogram bucket found at < 100% 05/18 17:03:35.795 INFO | server_job:0218| ERROR video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.h264 video_ChromeHWDecodeUsed.h264 timestamp=1526688215 localtime=May 18 17:03:35 Media.GpuVideoDecoderInitializeStatus not loaded or histogram bucket not found or histogram bucket found at < 100% |
