What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Having 6 - 8 chrome windows with avg 5 tabs per, including 2 - 3 cider tabs.
What is the expected result?
should be no lag
What happens instead of that?
Chrome (and entire system) appears laggy
UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36
Additional note: I even have an upgraded GPU in my system. I am now going to try turning off GPU acceleration

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome stable version 59.0.3071.109 using Ubuntu 14.04. Launched more than 10 to 15 tabs with different websites, navigated between them and OS windows. Did not observe any slowness in chrome. @ nickgolob: Request you to please update chrome to the latest stable available, give a try and update us with your observations. Thanks.!
