UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.101 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Sign in to second Google account, creating a profile for it
2. Delete all bookmarks from Bookmarks management
3. Import bookmarks from Firefox

What is the expected behavior?
At least after a browser restart bookmarks should show up, perhaps in an "imported" folder

What went wrong?
No error message, but no bookmark imported (also looking into the file itself within the profile).

Did this work before? Yes Cannot remember, but the issue started being reported at the end of August.

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.101  Channel: stable
OS Version: Mint 18
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I also tried to check if they were accidentally imported in the first profile (Default), but they weren't.
