Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.101 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. View Group Policy for Chrome (Computer Configuration -> Policies - Administrative Templates - Google Chrome) 2. Under this branch, "Enable Network Prediction" is listed twice What is the expected behavior? There should only be one Group Policy setting for this. It appears that the settings are almost identical. What went wrong? It's confusing to administrators to have that listed twice. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 53.0.2785.101 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 Attached is a screenshot showing the two settings side-by-side.

Up to M53, there were two policies with the same name: https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/components/policy/resources/policy_templates.json?type=cs&sq=package:chromium&l=775 https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/components/policy/resources/policy_templates.json?type=cs&sq=package:chromium&l=821 As of M54, this should not be a problem anymore. |
