Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use Chrome with i3 window manager
2. Notice that it fails to update from time to time, and the only way to fix it is to hide Chrome window and make it visible again

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome UI updates properly

What went wrong?
UI should probably work in general, so I'd say that's a thing that went wrong

Did this work before? Yes UI definitely worked properly last Friday

There is another issue report regarding problems with i3 I've found, but it seems to be old and probably described another problem. It's also completely abandoned and haven't had any comments and / or triaging information.
