In chrome://md-settings, for blank space input in search field, unnecessary page content is seen.

OS: Windows (7,8,10), Mac (10.10.5, 10.11.4), Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1) Launch chrome and go to chrome://md-settings.
2) Enter ‘      ’ (blank space) in search text field and observe the page.

For invalid ‘      ’(blank space) search unnecessary page content is seen.
For any invalid search, no page content should be seen.

This is a Non-Regression issue seen from M-54 series (Chrome version: 54.0.2809.0)
