no visible video control for some videos from miaopai.com

I got the following video link when clicking a link from sina.com.cn in Chrome on an Android device.

I can tap on the video to pause and restart. But there is no video control to fast forward or go fullscreen. If I scroll the page, cast icon will show / hide, can't tell the exact rule.

If I play in UC browser, there is video control.

UC Browser seems to have its own default controls but other browsers don't. I can't tell if the page behave differently for UC Browser (spoofing UA didn't seem to work but I am not 100% sure I got it right) or if UC Browser does something specific here.

Assiging to mdw@ who might be able to help digging into this.

Filed  bug 646360  to make it easier to spoof UC Browser UA from devtools.

I don't have any insight into this and suggest that the best way to find out is with more testing of Chrome vs UC on different sites. I'm not the right person to assign this to; perhaps dahlke@ if it pertains to media consumption on Clank?

UC Browser like Safari on iPhone forces default controls. This is why the controls on UC Browser are different. This can be reproduced on any website that would usually show custom controls.
