Crash whenever I open Site Settings

Project Member Reported by pfish@google.com, Sep 13 2016

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Visit any site.
2. Tap the lock or page icon in the omnibar.
3. Tap SITE SETTINGS.

What is the expected behavior?
The browser opens up the site's settings.

What went wrong?
Everything locks up completely, and I can't interact with the browser at all. I have to Force Stop the browser.

Crashed report ID:

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? Yes Several weeks to months ago?

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.16 Channel: dev
OS Version: NRD90S
Flash Version:

I believe you can also reproduce this by going to the overall site settings menu via the dots menu → Settings → Site settings.

This appears to afflict only my personal profile on my device. I just submitted crash feedback via Android with the description "pfish@google.com Site Settings bug".

You have to visit the All Sites submenu in All Sites to activate the bug.

If a full ADB bug report is needed, I can provide one.

Tested with Nexus 6/NRD90S/54.0.2840.25 build and not see any crash when tap on site settings

Can you provide us with the following info?

- Chrome version
- Device

I just checked this now, and it may be profile-specific: I can reliably crash my personal profile, but in my work profile, I can easily open site settings.

...it's apparently not a crash. It just takes a minute? or so?? to load, and while this is happening Chrome is unable to do anything else (won't respond to the back button, no loading indicator, the system "Chrome Dev is not responding" thingy comes up.
