(->) or (Go) button is Missing in Google Chrome after URL field section.

Reported by chatterj...@gmail.com, Sep 12 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : Version 52.0.2743.116 m (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) : Any
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari: PASS/FAIL (Version) Pass
    Firefox: PASS/FAIL (Version) Pass
         IE: PASS/FAIL (Version) Pass

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open Google Chrome in Laptop or Desktop using a wired or wireless Mouse Operator.
(2) Copy sample URL from other application and paste the copied URL in Google Chrome URL section.
(3) After the step <Paste>, click outside.

What is the expected result?
There should be a (->) or (Go) button at the right hand section of URL field, through which user can click and the desired page will come.

What happens instead?
User, who wants to use only Mouse for at least 'URL paste' and (Go) to that desired page, can't go, without hitting the 'Enter' button from keypad.

Take care of this issue, and hope it will help you to make Google Chrome more better Browser.

I believe the command you're looking for is "Paste and Go" which is on the context menu.
Issue 646075 has been merged into this issue.

Yep, use Paste And Search/Go for this.
So there is no plan to incorporate (Go) or (->) button, in the right hand side of the URL section in Google Chrome? As a senior software tester, it looks odd for me, having no button for (Go) or (->) after the URL where other browsers are giving that flexibility to do that.
No. Chrome had a Go button on first release eight years ago and dropped it something like six or seven years ago. It will not be returning.

Other ways to navigate without the keyboard:
* Just drag the selected text or URL to the omnibox, current tab, or anywhere else in the tabstrip to navigate the current tab/make a new tab
* On Linux, middle-click the omnibox when it's not selected (IIRC -- I think doing this on the reload button may also work) to paste-and-go the PRIMARY selection
